Summary: JTA International is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Program Administrator for the Fiji Health Sector Support Program.
Position Details:
The Fiji Health Sector Support Program (FHSSP) is an Australian Government, AusAID Initiative, providing support to the Ministry of Health to deliver essential health services to the ordinary people of Fiji. The FHSSP supports activities that will contribute to improving health outcomes in maternal and child health, strengthening diabetes prevention and management, and revitalising primary health care.
JTA International is currently seeking an experienced, culturally sensitive and motivated individual for the role of Senior Program Administrator for the FHSSP. This position will be responsible for the overall operational implementation of the FHSSP, and will work closely with the Program Director, FHSPP team, AusAID, Ministry of Health and other key stakeholders to ensure that the program is implemented with strong financial, governance and managing for results principles. The Senior Program Administrator will lead and mentor an established administrative team and engage with other key partners as appropriate.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in a program leadership role, with strong experience including staff supervision, financial management and performance management responsibilities. A strong financial and risk management background including experience preparing financial and program reports for management, proven program facilitation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills are essential. Relevant tertiary qualifications, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and prior experience working in Fiji and/or the Pacific region will be highly regarded.
